What does your consulting firm do?
We identify potential revenue leakage, map the processes that deliver customer value, and establish clear improvement priorities and technology-ready plans.
Who is this consulting practice for?
We work with founder-led businesses, typically with $1M or more in annual revenue. The work also fits new owners who want to understand inherited operations and protect the value they acquired.
Can you work with a newly acquired business?
Yes. Value Intelligence can give a new owner a clearer view of customer promises, processes, ownership, and operating gaps. The scope is shaped around the business and the decisions the owner needs to make.
Explore this engagement ↗What if I do not know where to start?
Bring the concerns you can name. A Needs Assessment looks across strategy, leadership, people, data, systems, and readiness for change to turn those concerns into clear priorities.
Explore this engagement ↗What if we are smaller or only have one urgent problem?
A focused Rapid Fix or Team Enablement engagement may be a better fit. We can discuss the problem and whether there is a useful, clearly defined way to work together.
Explore this engagement ↗What is Value Intelligence?
Value Intelligence maps customer value through departments, business processes and individual tasks to create a technology-ready operating blueprint.
Explore this engagement ↗What does the Needs Assessment include?
It examines strategy, leadership, people, data, systems, operating friction, and readiness for change. You receive readiness findings, ranked opportunities and risks, and a 30, 60, and 90-day action roadmap.
Explore this engagement ↗How do the Needs Assessment and Value Intelligence differ?
The Needs Assessment identifies what matters first and sets an initial roadmap. Value Intelligence goes deeper into the work behind the customer promise, mapping processes, tasks, ownership, and technology needs.
Explore this engagement ↗When is a Rapid Fix appropriate?
A Rapid Fix fits one urgent problem that is already understood well enough to define the work and the desired result. If the root cause is unclear, broader diagnosis may be needed first.
Explore this engagement ↗What is Team Enablement?
Team Enablement prepares people to use AI responsibly in their actual roles. It can include workshops, role-based exercises, approved use cases, and agreed learning materials. Technical implementation and follow-up are defined separately.
Explore this engagement ↗What is a Roadmap Check-In?
It is a focused review of an existing roadmap, completed work, open issues, and next steps. You receive refreshed recommendations. It is separate from a full reassessment or an ongoing fractional leadership agreement.
Explore this engagement ↗What is Value Reimagineering Advisory?
It provides ongoing fractional leadership to review outcomes, guide AI adoption, and keep operating priorities tied to business value. Meetings, performance reviews, responsibilities, and availability are agreed in scope.
Explore this engagement ↗Can Patrick speak to our leadership team or at an event?
Yes. Executive Speaking includes an agreed keynote, executive presentation, or leadership workshop for founder and executive audiences. The session and preparation are shaped around the audience. Speaking is separate from an organizational assessment.
Explore this engagement ↗Do we need to complete all ten steps?
No. The core consulting work covers Steps 1–6. Implementation is optional and ongoing advisory is separately scoped.
What is the Promise-to-Revenue System?
It is a ten-step method organized into four phases: Diagnose, Architect, Enable, and Improve. It starts with the value customers expect, connects that value to the work that delivers it, and guides decisions about people, technology, and improvement.
Why start with the customer promise?
The customer promise explains what the work needs to deliver. Starting there makes it easier to see which processes matter, where value gets lost, and which changes are worth making before choosing technology.
Is this only about AI?
No. The business need comes first. We look at people, leadership, processes, data, systems, and readiness for change. AI is one possible part of the answer, alongside clearer ownership, simpler workflows, or team training.
Will we need to buy new software?
That depends on what the work reveals. We start with the value you need to deliver and the systems you already have. Technology choices should follow clear requirements and the ability of your people to use the tools well.
How do you decide what should stay human?
We look at the task, the judgment it requires, and the customer experience it supports. Value Intelligence identifies where AI may fit and where human review or direct human involvement matters.
Explore this engagement ↗Who implements the plan?
You choose the route: your own team, an existing provider, an independent specialist, or a separately contracted piece of work. The plan makes the requirements and responsibilities clear before the build.
Explore this engagement ↗Can we keep our current technology provider?
Yes. Client choice is part of the approach. Your existing provider can work from the agreed blueprint, with responsibilities and implementation scope made clear.
Explore this engagement ↗Are builds, integrations, and deployment included?
They are separately scoped. A value map or assessment does not automatically include software development, integrations, data remediation, deployment, or management of subcontractors. The agreement defines the work being delivered.
Explore this engagement ↗Do you receive fees for specialist referrals?
A specialist referral may involve a fee. Any referral fee is disclosed before the introduction so you can make an informed choice. The specialist should fit the agreed requirements.
Explore this engagement ↗How is consulting priced?
Projects are priced by agreed scope and deliverables. The exact investment is stated in the proposal.
Does one engagement commit us to the next?
No. Each engagement has its own scope. You can use the assessment roadmap with your team, request a focused next step, or discuss a deeper engagement when the timing is right.
What happens in the first conversation?
The introductory fit conversation is about 15 minutes. We discuss the challenge, what you have tried, and whether there is a useful next step together.
Who needs to be involved?
The founder or decision-maker and the people who understand the work should be involved as needed. We agree on access and participation when defining the scope.
How long does a Needs Assessment take?
Typically 3 days or less once the owner and key people are available. Timing and scope are agreed before the work starts. Deeper process mapping and other engagements have their own timelines.
Explore this engagement ↗What if the team is not ready to make the change?
Readiness is part of the assessment. The next step may be team training, a smaller improvement, or time to act on the roadmap before going further. The work should match what the business and its people can support.
Explore this engagement ↗How do we define success?
We agree on the results you expect and the experience you value. Those expectations guide the scope, success criteria, and the work to be reviewed. Any recommendation or referral you give afterward remains voluntary.
